So many artifacts put away in storage could hold the keys to so many questions, put forward today. I do believe one day so much will become clear on this subject.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3739684561063978507.post-71837718083047058852012-08-25T10:53:18.150+01:002012-08-25T10:53:18.150+01:00There is a common very old type of Native American...There is a common very old type of Native American skull which is indeed characterised by having a pronounced nuchal ridge and I had described the type as being rather like the lower part of a Neanderthal skuull sawed off and mated to an upper half of a skull of a more modern type of man: and this type of skull is commenest at the paleoindian levels. Noetheless from the description I would hesitate to place the Minaret calvarium even in this classification. This type of skull was identified as Otamid by Neuman in an article entitled Archaeology and Race in the American Indian in 1952 if you should want to check out the reference. I have discussed the type in detail before to Bigfooters who expressed an interest and so I am very familiar with the type of skull.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
