Today, from 8 am to 10 am UK time, and from midnight to 2 am Pacific Time in the USA, I made my debut on the extremely popular North American radio talk show 'Coast To Coast AM' (click here for more details concerning my appearance), talking to Sundays host George Knapp concerning my new cryptozoology book Mirabilis and cryptozoology in general. I greatly enjoyed it and hope that you did too, but if you missed it you can listen to it in full here, on YouTube.
Karl does his subject proud, beginning about an hour and eighteen minutes into the YouTube link, although the previous guest was also fascinating. I hope this leads to a bigger international market for Mirabilis, which is an excellent read.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyable talk Karl. I liked the mention of the Kraken because I think it is under appreciated as one of the great cryptozoological successes. There have been discoveries of parts of giant squid washing ashore in Scandinavia and these probably contributed to the ethno-knowledge of them. Unfortunately the Kraken is characterized by the one most extreme report that seems to combine whale and giant squid considering its colossal size.
ReplyDeleteIn the San Francisco Examiner Thursday September 19th 2013 is reported that scientists have discovered four new legless lizards in the Western U.S. Formerly there was only one known there.
